For the past few years, my favorite place to be was behind a booth at an art show, meeting you all and seeing my jewelry find its forever homes. But as I looked toward 2026, I realized that to give you my absolute best work, I needed to change my pace.
This year, I’ve made the intentional decision to slow way down on my in-person art show schedule. I’m moving the "booth" to your screen, and I wanted to share why this shift is the best thing to happen to my craft—and your jewelry collection.
1. Quality Without the Rush
Art shows are a whirlwind. Between the travel, the setup, and the breakdown, the time I actually had to create was often squeezed into the gaps. By staying in the studio, I am reclaiming hundreds of hours.
This means more time for the intricate details, the slow polishing, and the meticulous hand-forging that defines a truly heirloom piece. I’m not just making more; I’m making better.
2. Doubling Down on My Michigan Roots
Every piece of jewelry I sell is designed and handcrafted right here in my Michigan studio. By focusing on a "Studio-First" model, I am pouring my energy back into our local creative economy. When you buy from my online drops, you are supporting a 100% Michigan-made process from start to finish.
3. Sustainability as a Standard
My commitment to the planet hasn't changed—it’s actually getting stronger. I am proud to continue working exclusively with:
· Recycled Sterling Silver: Giving beautiful metal a second life.
· 14k - 18k Gold: Solid, high-quality gold done right.
Working with recycled precious metals is a labor of love, and by staying in the studio, I can ensure that my sourcing and my processes remain as eco-friendly and ethical as possible.
4. Cutting the "Travel Tax"
Let’s be honest: Art shows are expensive. Between booth fees, gas, and hotels, the overhead is massive. By reducing these costs, I can reinvest that money directly into my materials.
Instead of paying for a hotel room, I’m investing in studio and my peace with my business and hopefully even more time to connect with you. This allows me to keep my prices as fair and accessible as possible for you, even as the cost of raw precious metals rise to unprecedented levels. You aren’t paying for my travel; you’re paying for the craftsmanship.
How to Shop in 2026
I’ll still be popping up at 2 or 3 "Legacy Shows" throughout the year, but the primary way to snag a pair of my jewelry will be through Limited Batch Launches right here on my website.
· Sign up for the Email List: My "Inner Circle" gets the password to shop new batches 60 minutes before the general public.
· Follow on Social: I’ll be sharing the entire process—from raw silver to finished gold—on Instagram and Facebook.
Thank you for allowing me to grow, to slow down, and to keep creating art that lasts a lifetime. While I won’t be on the road as much in 2026, I want to hear from you all. Let me know what your up to, where you have been, what your favorite pieces are – I’ll need all the social interaction I can get! The studio can be a refuge but also can be isolating. Even a quick shout to say hi is always a bright spot for me!
I can't wait to show you what’s coming off the workbench next.
